Madeleine

Madeleine

“My husband and I built Birds and Beans from nothing.  We are proud of what it has become and how it continues to evolve.” Madeleine is a small business owner whose favourite thing to do is commune in nature. She is 57 years old, was born and raised in Canada, and has a degree in Applied Mathematics/Physics. Her favourite quality about herself is her willingness to be vulnerable, which I surely thought was beautiful when she read me some of her poetry. Madeleine appreciates kindness in another person the most and genuine connection as the most important thing in her life. When I asked Madeleine how she believes she is perceived she responded, “perhaps most frequently as my own person.”

Q&A Feature:

What makes you laugh so much it hurts?

Finding out what someone thought I meant

What is most important to you?

Genuine connection

Where is your favourite place to find yourself?

At my cabin in the forest

What is one thing you know for sure?

I cannot “think" of a single thing.  I have a heartful “knowing” that life is inherently meaningful.
