‘“The hearts of all humans are my nationality” A quote from the poem Jawaz Al-Safar by a dear poet to my heart, Mahmoud Darwish.”’ Was Soad’s answer to my question ‘what’s your nationality?’ It gets better – when I asked her what sect of Islam she is she responded, “Love.” Soad is an environmental design student who loves exploring. Last summer, she spent working and traveling around Kyrgyzstan as part of her goal to travel the Silk Road. Her favourite quality about herself is that she’s quite resourceful and always trying to learn new things and grow emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Her favourite quality in another person is their “heart pureness and their honesty with themselves.”

Q&A Feature:

What is most important to you?
At this very moment, what’s really important to me is to find out what’s really important to me

How do you think you are perceived?

I think that heavily depends on whom ever is on the receiving end

What is one thing you know for sure?

That there’s nothing I can know for sure
